Pipe Major: Douglas McFarland
Dougie is a Dancer, Bagpiper and all round Scottish Cultural Enthusiast.
Competing for much of his life, his dancing achievements include winning World Championship Medals, Qualifying for the World Championship final 4 times, Winning the British Overseas and Australasian Championship amongst scores of Championship wins and placing in the North American (3), Canadian Rockies (5), All African (2), European (5), United Kingdom (5), British Open(4) and Central Scotland (4) Championships.
As a piper he enjoys his role as Pipe Major of City of Gosford Pipe Band and in 2016 released his second collection of tunes for Highland Dancing, titledĀ  Rhythm Of The Dancer. His first collection: Good Times with the Wilson, for Scottish National Dances is used all over the world for competition and practise.
Dougie has worked on a number of shows including his own Down Under the Kilt series, the renowned Scotland The Brave Show, Jimmy Barnes Working Class Boy, and most recently working with The Wiggles as they embark on a Highland Dance story in their latest DVD/ TV series and Live Tour.

Pipe Sergeant: Charlie McLennan

Originally from Western Australia, Charlie learnt piping at Scotch College in Perth and has been an integral member of the City of Gosford Pipe corps since moving to the Central Coast.









Drum Sergeant: Matt Thomson
Growing up on the Central Coast, Matt was following in his father's footsteps when he joined the newly reformed City of Gosford Pipe Band in 2014.
