Reformed in October 2014, the City of Gosford Pipe Band are committed to teaching traditional Scottish music and engaging with the local community to continue the pipe band movement.

For many years the City of Gosford Pipe Band engaged with and entertained the Central Coast, providing pipers and drummers with an opportunity to learn and progress Scottish traditional music and instruments. In the late 90s many of the bands members joined other bands and over time the band has withdrawn from community participation. However the band reformed in October 2014 and participated in the Gosford Christmas Parade, barely five weeks later. We invite all pipers, drummers and those who would like to learn, to contact us and be part of the reformed City of Gosford Pipe Band. Spread the word to anyone you know interested in this form of music that we are back and we want new members.

The band meets for practice on Thursday evenings. We also hold a public practice in Kibble Park, Gosford on alternate Saturday mornings and invite the community to come down and listen.

We welcome new members, whether you are an experienced player or a novice. If you are interested in joining, or finding out more about the band, you can contact us at
